PROJECT 1A : ONSITE SKETCHING

We are required  to choose 3 exterior and interior perspectives each from the campus, and translate them onto A4 paper. I've a better understanding of space in architecture as I was required to record my observation and perception of the space through free hand sketches on the site by experiencing it. By doing these, I also developed my skills in visualizing of space through observation and perception.

PROJECT 1B : TONAL VALUES

We are then required to select the best 4 sketches and render them.

Through this project, I am able to develop skills in various tonal and depth values.

PROJECT 2A (i) : ORTHOGRAPHIC  PROJECTIONS

We are required  to produce an orthographic drawing of the drafting table in the studio with proper line weight and scales.

PROJECT 2A (ii) : Orthographic  Projections

We were required to produce orthographic drawings as well as figuring out the measurements and scales. of the Margaret Esherick House, by American architect Louis Kahn; also with appropriate line weight and scales.

PROJECT 2B : Axonometric

Using the same building as Part 2A (ii), we learnt to produce an axonometric projection after thoroughly studying it.

PROJECT 2C : PERSPECTIVES

In the last part of Project 2, we have to produce a two point perspective drawing and a one point sectional perspective and was required to render it.

PROJECT 3 : INTEGRATION PROJECT W STUDIO 1

For our final project, we were required to create drawings based on our final project for Studio 1, which was our dream space.

Combining what we've learnt throughout the whole semester, we were required to produce all the technical drawings with appropriate scale. We were asked to produce 1:50 scale drawings as listed below:

Floor plans, Elevations, Section, Axonometric/Interior perspective.

Throughout this module, I have thoroughly learnt and realized the importance of communication through design. With this, I am now capable to translate and visualize my ideas and design through a series of technical drawings, I will continue to expand my knowledge and my architectural graphic skills and I hereby thank my ever patient lecturers on tutoring and guiding me throughout this course.
